This home chef was trapped in a small U-shaped kitchen located right of the entry of the home for years. A poor layout and cramped conditions isolated her from her guests during gatherings or caused them to congregate in the kitchen’s work space. We relocated the kitchen to the rear of the house and introduced an island with seating. We also oriented the common area to naturally flow onto a heated outdoor living space. The end result is a kitchen that performs as well as it looks and keeps guests mingling instead of underfoot. This allows this cook to do what she does best, entertain!
We did an addition to this house as well. Check it out here.
